Armonk, NY—October, 19 2012—Production Resource Group, L.L.C. (PRG), will debut new lighting control and media server products at LDI 2012. PRG will be in booth #1727 at the LDI show in Las Vegas from October 19 – 21. LDI attendees will be the first to see the new ultra-portable V276 on Mac control interface and Mbox Studio, a software version of the popular Mbox Extreme® media server, both of which will be available for sale in January 2013. Both products are designed for use with an Apple Macintosh computer (supplied by the user). These two products, when combined, provide a powerful, complete, and compact control solution for lighting and media from one computer.
PRG has also announced that it will now—in response to customer requests—offer the entire line of Mbox software and hardware products for sale. Previously these products had been available in PRG’s rental inventory only.
Developed by PRG’s Emmy® award winning R&D group, the VX76 family of control consoles, all of which will be on display at LDI. The VX76 console range will now feature Version 3.5 software, which is a major feature release. Some of the many new features include Tracking, ASCII import, external Art-Net fader control, and DMX input for third-party products. End-users can specify and purchase any of the products in PRG’s console family—the V276 on Mac, the V476®, the V676®, and the new PRG Super Node, which expands the console control capabilities.
The award winning PRG automated luminaire proprietary product Iine will also be on display in the booth, including the energy efficient, all-in-one Best Boy® 4000 Spot, a 20,000+ lumens, 700-watt fixture with an all-inclusive feature set; and the Bad Boy®, a luminaire that produces an astounding 48,000 lumens, from a 1,400-watt lamp. The proprietary Series 400 Power and Data Distribution System, the proven, reliable choice for even the most critical applications, will be shown in the PRG booth as well.
The PRG TruColor line, featuring the award winning HS and Foton™ luminaires new fixtures that use innovative cold-phosphor technology for film and television applications will be on display in the PRG booth #1727 and in the Tech For Worship Pavilion, booth #106.
