Riedel Artist 32 Accessory Workbox
The PRG A32A Workbox is assembled in a custom workbox that matches the outer dimensions of the A32 system rack. This allows it to travel stacked on the Riedel A32 system rack or stack under the A32 system rack on show site to minimize the footprint.
This workbox includes a basic complement of accessories for small to medium sized shows to best utilize the Riedel A32 system.
It includes components such as:
- C3 belt-pack
- DCP 1016 master panel
- C31 split box
- HMD 410 closed-ear headset (DT108 on request)
- PH 88 lightweight headset
- CL31 call light indicator
BELT-PACK
The PRG A32A Workbox includes eighteen of the Riedel C3 dual channel digital belt-packs. These are full digital audio communications belt-packs, allowing users to hear great quality intercom and minimize hum and buzz heard throughout the system. The Riedel system allows up to sixteen of the C3 packs per port on the C44 interface or 38 total packs per C44 interface (four ports per C44).
SPLIT BOX
There are four of the Riedel C31 split boxes in the A32A Workbox. This interface takes the upstream port from the C44 interface located in the Riedel A32 rack and divides it into three downstream ports to connect C3 belt-packs. This allows the engineer to route the stream into three different locations and to increase the total cable length capacity of a port to reach 1.5 miles.
DESKTOP USER STATIONS
The A32A Workbox includes six of the Riedel DCP-1016 Desktop Master panels. Connected via coax cable (75-ohm BNC) to the Riedel A32 rack, users can be remoted from the A32 rack by using stock video cabling. These panels offer many functions for the users including the ability to program IFB, VOG and other page functions right from these keys. Furthermore, Program Audio or any other audio source can be routed to “cue” right on these panels.
OTHER ACCESSORIES
Additional accessories are included such as the Riedel CL31 call light indicator (Blazon), the Riedel CIA Coax-to-CAT5 converter; as well as a host of cable adapters
to allow many different headset standards to connect to PRG’s stock of belt-packs and desktop panels. There are also power supplies and power cables as needed by these devices in the workbox.
