Challenge:
Engage booth visitors in an informational video.

Solution:
A busy exhibit floor is not the easiest place to explain complex scientific ideas - but PRG helped a major pharmaceutical exhibitor get the job done. To illustrate the biological processes behind an emerging treatment, the booth at the American College of Cardiology’s 2007 trade show in New Orleans featured an informational video that appeared to rise in three dimensions from the surface of a 40-inch 3D MultiView Display from NewSight Corporation.

PRG worked with Exploria, the video content creator, to adapt the video graphics for best effect in the 3D format. PRG also provided lighting for the booth along with three Barco R12+ projectors fed by a Grass Valley turbo iDDR hard drive. The booth was conceptualized by Lou Competielle of Loran Associates, Inc.”

Seeing the information in 3D not only held the viewers’ attention, it gave them the information in a way they could easily process,” explained Mike Wohlitz, PRG’s senior coordinator for the event. “And because they didn’t have to use 3D goggles or other viewing aids, visitors could focus directly in the content.”

PRG now offers a full rental line of NewSight 3D displays, which are ideal for trade shows and special events. “The vivid, high definition images literally stop people in their tracks - and with the added dimension, exhibitors can showcase their products from every angle,” says Wohlitz. “It’s a great way to tell your story.”
