LG Booth at CTIA
PRG has LG Electronics MobileComm covered at CTIA Wireless.
The Challenge: Provide a clean, contemporary ceiling canopy system with integrated lighting and audio.
The Solution: Exhibitgroup /Giltspur® (EG) designed a clean, contemporary booth with a club-lounge feel for LG Electronics MobileComm at the CTIA Wireless show in Las Vegas. EG wanted attendees to walk into a complete environment, so instead of leaving the exhibit hall ceiling exposed, they designed tiered canopies to cover the 250’-long space. PRG was selected to build and provide all associated elements for a turnkey system on show site.
Working closely with EG designers, PRG engineered and constructed a four-tiered fabric ceiling system that would not require a sprinkler system. PRG was able to integrate the lighting and audio production elements inside the ceiling canopies. A six zone audio system was designed to allow maximum control for the DJ to send a mix throughout the booth and was also used to support hourly touchscreen presentations given from the theatre. A press event with a tie-in to the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie for LG’s phones also utilized the lighting and audio with additional effects reinforcing the movie’s aesthetic throughout the space.
Unlike the more common static exhibit lighting, dynamic lighting created a club-lounge look with the space while shifting focus from display to display, creating flow and energy throughout the booth. Custom circular rings built into the fabric provided portals for lighting over the mobile phone displays. Using blue, magenta and white as the sole color palette provided a strong contrast to the LG red while the back of the space was treated with a 200’ fiber wall uplit with LED lights. Dimensional signage was integrated into both the fiber wall and the canopies.
