BLØF impresses a sold-out Ziggo Dome (Amsterdam)

On Saturday, March 10th the legendary Dutch rock band BLØF took the stage in a sold-out Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam where 17.000 fans had gathered for a spectacular show full of surprises.

PRG took charge of sound, lighting and rigging, as well as video. The Adamson PA, consisting of 60 E15’s, 24 E12’s, 12 S10’s and 32 E219 subs ensured the lush sound in the Ziggo Dome, with a Digico SD5 for the Front of House and a Digico SD7 for monitoring.

A breathtaking projection on a main Pixelscreen solid LED screen of 30 meters wide, 6 meters high and 14 moving objects of 6 by 1 meter staged the classic glass windows of a giant church. The Motion controlled objects allowed changing the setting from intimate to impressive. The lighting, designed by Patrick Kramer, supported this variation in BLØF’s repertoire. PRG provided various lighting packages with more than 70 PRG Icon Edges, and fulfilled the trussing with Robe Square, Robe Spiider, Robe BMFL Blade and Martin LED Atomics, all controlled by 2 GrandMA2 Full Size consoles.

The smooth course of the evening was ensured by PRG’s team with Peter Daane, Project Manager, Patrick Demoustier, FOH engineer and system designer, Johan van den Bossche as a monitor engineer and Niels van den Heuvel as a pré-mix engineer.
Leon Driessen and Patrick Kramer controlled the lighting package.

We want to say ‘thank you’ to the band, the management by Agents after All and Marty Brugmans, technical producer of the show. We can look back on an unforgettable evening and collaboration.
