Adam Maxfield

Project Manager, Scenic

Based in Las Vegas, Adam Maxfield provides project management solutions for clients seeking custom fabrication and rental scenery for corporate events, special events, trade shows, car shows, tradeshows and theatrical productions.

Adam joined PRG in 2002 after receiving his master of fine arts degree in theatre with an emphasis in technical production from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. During his three year graduate program at UNC, Adam specialized in theatrical rigging and steel fabrication. He also served as technical director for a number of productions for Playmakers Repertory Company, the university’s professional equity theatre company, including The Man Who Came to Dinner, Art and Side Man. He was also the instructor of record for the Introduction to Technical Methods class as well as a guest lecturer on topics such as special effects, lighting and rigging.

Prior to obtaining his masters degree, Adam served as master carpenter and assistant scenic supervisor in the Adam’s theatre (a replica of the Globe theatre) for the Utah Shakespearean Festival. He also served as the assistant technical director for the Utah Musical Theatre.

Adam began his career by serving as interim assistant technical director for Theatre ISU while finishing his bachelor of arts degree in theatre from Idaho State University.

When not on the job, Adam enjoys spending time in the mountains of Idaho with his wife, 3 boys, and 2 dogs. He also enjoys mountain biking, hiking and camping.
