Based in PRG’s Orlando office, Brian is part of PRG’s Integration and Sales division. He specializes in providing lighting solutions to the Cruise Ship industry and Florida’s major theme parks and attractions.
A native of northern Virginia, Brian began his entertainment technology career in 1985 as a warehouse production technician and driver for the D.C. based production lighting company, City Lights. While employed at City Lights Brian supported live event venues such as the Kennedy Center for the performing arts, Traxx, Fifth Column and the world famous 9:30 Club. He then joined Barbizon lighting company as a warehouse technician in 1991 and moved into a sales role at Barbizon a few years later, working with clients such as ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. Brian has also supported feature films such as Gardens of Stone, The Pelican Brief and In the Line of Fire. In 1997, Brian relocated to south Florida to help Barbizon expand its client services into the Latin American markets. In 1999, he was promoted to Sales Manager and relocated to Barbizon’s Orlando office, a position he held until joining PRG at the beginning of 2007.
Brian has extensive experience developing permanent lighting solutions for live entertainment venues, cruise ships, nightclubs, theme parks, theatres, themed environments and house’s of worship. Brian has a vast working knowledge of intelligent lighting systems, dimming and control, film/video and television studio equipment and is a stage and studio lamp specialist. He also assists clients with boxed lighting sales, lighting expendables and used lighting equipment, with an emphasis on LED technology and automated lighting system sales and installation.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys playing golf and guitar, spending time with his family, daughter Nicole and 2 grandchildren. He is also an avid sports fan with a degree in Sports Medicine.
