John R. Swain

Vice President, PRG Asia, Inc.

Based in PRG’s New Windsor headquarters, John Swain is PRG’s primary North American contact for PRG Asia, Inc., a subsidiary of PRG established to serve PRG’s many clients in Asia. John helps manage the subsidiary’s operations and coordinates support from PRG’s North American offices.

John has extensive experience developing solutions for regional and touring theatre productions, corporate events, television & film productions, retail centers, theme parks, and many other types of themed environments. His major projects have included construction of the Kyoto, Umi and Jiyuu theaters in Japan, the J@zz theatre at New York’s Lincoln Center, the Aladdin and Steps in Time productions in the Hyperion Theater at Disney’s California Adventure theme park, the 45 Years of Magic parade at Disneyland, Muvico’s Pointe Orlando 21 Multiplex, The Avenue at Tower City in Cleveland, the Silver City Dragon in Canada’s West Edmonton Mall, the Harbor Circus Mall in Kobe, Japan, the Izu Teddy Bear Museum in Izu, Japan, productions of The Phantom of the Opera and Cats by Japan’s Shiki Theatre Company, and other projects in Barcelona, Seoul, Berlin and many other cities worldwide.
