Based in Los Angeles, John Roth develops entertainment technology solutions for auto shows, corporate events, special events, and tradeshows. His more than 35 years of entertainment industry experience includes roles in audio support, lighting support, and production management.
John joined PRG’s client support team in 1999 after spending over 14 years at another prominent lighting company in a variety of client support and management roles, including Executive Vice President. During this period of his career, he helped pioneer the use of automotated lighting solutions in auto shows. Prior to that, John served as a production manager, stage manager, lighting technician and audio technician for major touring artists, as well as being the promoter representative and stage manager for Electric Factory Concerts in Philadelphia during its formative years.
Some of John’s major projects have included auto show solutions for Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, BMW and Mini, concert touring solutions for The Cars, Chicago, Tom Petty, and Olivia Newton-John, sporting event solutions for the Los Angeles Olympics, Lake Placid Olympics, the Honda Golf Classic, and tradeshow solutions for numerous exhibitors at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Specialty Equipment Manufacturs Association (SEMA), Electronics Entertainment Expo (E³), and other major tradeshows.
When not working, John enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.
