Operations Manager, Lighting
Based, in New Jersey, Mike Jencsik is the operations manager of PRG Lighting, which includes lighting solutions for Broadway, Off-Broadway, theatrical touring productions, television & film productions and special events within the NY metro area and beyond.
In 1983, while still in high school, Mike started working part-time for Bash Theatrical Lighting. After graduating West Chester University in 1991 with a bachelor degree in liberal arts, Mike began working full time.
Mike joined PRG in1999 as a result of the merger between PRG and Bash. During his career, Mike has held multiple positions including driver, shop worker, and shop foreman before becoming the operations manager in 2006.
As operations manager, Mike is constant communication with the production electricians, is the liaison between the shop and the sales staff, and oversees the operations department to ensure overall excellence and quality.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, tailgating, going to NASCAR races, watching the NY Giants and singing karaoke.
