President, Concert Touring
As president of PRG’s global concert touring group, Mickey works out of PRG’s offices in Greenford, United Kingdom, and Los Angeles. He most recently served as director of sales, overseeing business development and client support at the Greenford office of PRG Lighting, a division of PRG that provides lighting services for concert tours and special events.
When Mickey joined the concert touring industry in 1982, he became the second generation of his family to do so. His father Bill managed bands including The Who, Robert Plant and Judas Priest.
For the first twelve years of his career, Mickey served as a freelance lighting technician for many popular artists including Elton John, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, George Harrison, Frank Sinatra, Judas Priest, AC DC, and Barkley, James, Harvest. In 1994, he joined Light & Sound Design (LSD) as a permanent employee. Over the next several years, he worked his was up from the position of tour crew chief to co owner and manager of the company’s London office. Following PRG’s acquisition of LSD in 1998, Mickey was further promoted to the position of Director of Sales for the division.
Mickey relies on his extensive touring experience in Europe and North American in developing solutions for his clients.
When not on the job, Mickey enjoys golfing, international travel and playing with his dog, Alfie.
