Nick Jackson

Senior Vice President, Concert Touring

As senior vice president of PRG’s entertainment services group, Nick oversees the company’s worldwide support for concert tours, sporting events and special events.

Nick began his career over 30 years ago in Birmingham, England. In 1975, he founded Light & Sound Design, Ltd. (LSD), a production services company that quickly became the leading supplier of entertainment technology to the European concert touring market. In the early 1990’s, Nick expanded his company’s operations through the establishment of two offices in the US. By 1998, when LSD became part of PRG’s lighting division, the company was generating over $32 million in annual revenues and had become the world’s leading supplier of concert touring production services.

Under Nick’s leadership, PRG has supported many of the most popular artists in the recording industry, including The Rolling Stones, Cher, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, U2, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Diana Ross, and Janet Jackson.

PRG has also made significant contributions to the advancement of technology in the entertainment industry through the development of the ICON series of lighting products. The most recent addition to the ICON line, the Mbox, is a ground-breaking device that fully integrates lighting, projection and video effects. ICON products are now available both directly through PRG and through franchise partners in Australia and Japan.
