Bob Murdock manages all aspects of PRG Video in Orlando.
Bob joined PRG in 2006 after spending 6 years at an Orlando-based audio/visual company, where he worked his way up from show technician to video services manager. While serving as a show technician, he provided video engineering and show switching services to a variety of clients, including Cisco Systems, IBM, Daimler-Chrysler, Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, GSK, Cadence, Autodesk, and Rite Aid Pharmacies. As video services manager, he managed all of their video operations and played an instrumental role in the introduction of high definition video technology in corporate events.
Prior to that, Bob spent many years working as a freelance video technician for corporate and special events. He also gained more than 20 years of experience in broadcasting as a freelance technician for CNN and ESPN and as an employee of NBC and CBS affiliates. His many broadcasting roles included director of photography, line producer, assignment manager and remote truck operator. His experiences included such challenging assignments as presidential campaigns, hurricanes and major sporting events. He was recognized twice during his career with Emmys for documentary and investigative journalism.
Bob graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor of arts degree in radio and television broadcasting.
When he is not at work, Bob enjoys cooking with his wife Cathy and spending time with his three college kids, Mitchell, Michele and Michael.
