Ryan Powers comes to PRG with experience in both the technical aspect as well as the performance aspect of theatrical productions. He started out as a performer and has an undergraduate degree in Theatrical Performance and is classically trained to sing opera.
He has performed in quite a few productions including being the host of the Nickelodeon show Nicktoons Summer Jam, as well as recording a multitude of voice over recordings for various theatrical pieces. The fun didn’t stop there as he continued his education and got a Masters degree in Theatrical Sound Design and designed or assistant designed off-Broadway shows, Broadway shows, national tours, and theme park attractions.
He also spent a small stint of his career being called “Professor Powers” while being an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music where he taught “Theater Sound Technology”, “Basic Score Interpretation” and “Theater Music Production.”
Outside of the theatrical world, Ryan has an addiction to roller coasters and continues to seek out the world’s tallest, fastest and wildest rides on the planet.
