While attending George Mason University’s Technical Theater Program with an emphasis in light design, Wayne had the distinguished honor of being the first student lighting designer chosen to design main stage productions for the GMU Players. In addition to several main stage and student run light designs projects he was also elected as the first Master Electrician for the GMU Players. While at Mason, he also wrote, produced, directed and designed an original musical for the GMU Player’s student production series.
In the mid-90’s Wayne created Arrow Entertainment Industrial Light Shows. Arrow provided lighting production and design for local, regional and national acts and special events for over a decade in the Washington, DC area. Production highlights include; Carbon Leaf, Fighting Gravity, Brooklyn Bounce, The Dreamscapes Project, Gonzo’s Nose and C+C Music Factory.
Throughout the late 90’s, Wayne also served as resident light designer for the Fairfax Ballet, the United States Naval Academy’s Annual Halloween Concert and the Mount Vernon Community Children’s Theater. He continues his residency at the Naval Academy’s Halloween Concert in Annapolis, MD.
In 1997, Wayne started with the sales department at Barbizon Capitol in Alexandria, VA. In 2002, Wayne transferred to Barbizon’s Orlando, FL office. While at Barbizon Wayne became the product specialist for the Spider Pod platform system for the company.
Wayne started with PRG in 2003 as an Account Executive. In 2007 he moved into PRG’s Systems Installation Group as the Southeast Regional Manager. Since starting in the position he has overseen the completion of several installations including World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, GA, Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL, Sea World and Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.
In his free time Wayne enjoys spending time with his wife, Lizanna, and their 2 dogs Kole and Kayla. He also enjoys playing the drums and attending local and national entertainment productions.
