A Night to Remember: DJ Snake's Epic Stade de France Takeover

On May 10, 2025, the moment had finally arrived: World-renowned French DJ and producer DJ Snake took over the Stade de France with a massive, sold-out show. PRG France proudly supported this spectacular production, providing extensive lighting, video, audio, and rigging technology.

Tickets for the event sold out within minutes, as fans eagerly awaited this extraordinary night. Alongside DJ Snake, an all-star lineup kept the energy high – with Tiësto and Madeon igniting the crowd ahead of the headline performance. This show offered PRG France a perfect opportunity to demonstrate their technical expertise. Over 11 trailers of equipment were installed during an intense four-day setup, involving diverse teams from across Europe working around the clock to bring this mega-production to life.

Lighting

The “Final Show” was illuminated by an awe-inspiring rig of over 500 lighting fixtures, including many newly added GLP JDC1 Burst units from PRG’s rental fleet. Also featured were ACME Pixel Line IP and more than 115 CAMEO ORON H2 fixtures, strategically placed across the massive stage, field, and stadium tiers. A team of experienced riggers implemented the complex lighting design, particularly around the LED wall.

Video

A true highlight of the show was the gigantic LED stage, towering 32 meters high and 18 meters wide, seamlessly curving into a 500m² LED floor – all built from 3.9mm LED panels. One of the biggest challenges was constructing this video system in under 48 hours, without any pre-assembly, while ensuring a flawless transition between the rear wall, the curved stage elements, and the LED floor.

The lighting, video, and PixMob systems were managed using seven grandMA3 light and full-size consoles, all networked through over 3.5 km of fiber optic cable. This setup ensured fast, precise, and synchronized control across all visual elements.

Rigging

A production of this scale required a solid foundation. Standard hoists were used for the lighting and PA systems, but the enormous LED wall demanded a custom rigging solution. 18 Moveket 1,250T motors with 40-meter chains were used to precisely lift and position the 16-ton, 32-meter-high LED wall, aligning it perfectly with the curved understructure built from modular layers.
In collaboration with FL STRUCTURE, a tiered support system was developed to hold both the curved wall and LED floor. This structure was mounted on wheels, allowing it to be assembled in movable sections for a smooth build process. To support the massive LED installation, a 36-meter-high tower was constructed, providing the necessary height and structural integrity to safely position the 32-meter-tall LED wall.  The entire structure was engineered to meet outdoor wind reinforcement standards, ensuring maximum safety and stability throughout the show.

Audio

PRG also provided comprehensive audio support, including FOH, monitors, and additional accessories. To ensure smooth communication across all areas – including VIP lounges and dressing rooms – 70 Bolero kits with antennas were installed for full intercom coverage. Artists’ backstage areas were equipped not only with audio feeds but also with broadcast video, keeping everyone connected throughout the show.

The creative design and concept were created by HIGH SCREAM and Romain Pissenem, who brought their visionary approach to the stage design and scenography. Their work transformed the Stade de France into a breathtaking audiovisual spectacle, playing a key role in shaping the unforgettable atmosphere of the night.

Our main contact for the large-scale project was Sébastien Cadra, Project manager PRG France:
“I am honored to have participated in this legendary show.Bringing the artist's vision and the designers' sketches to life, in such a demanding timeframe, represented a real technical and logistical challenge.
This ambitious project would never have seen the light of day without the exceptional commitment and talent of our teams.
Our work does not stop at the job offered by PRG, we also provided technical support to the various service providers (stage / sfx / sound PA) to ensure we operated as a single team.
After four days of non-stop setup, a performance lasting more than 2 hours, and an impressively fast 13-hour teardown, the magic came to an end – but what remains are the breathtaking visuals and the memories of 80,000 thrilled fans.
Following the Central Tour for INDOCHINE in 2022, we can say that stadiums with large towers are becoming  our specialty (laughs).
A special thank you to Laurent Boillot for his trust, and to Romuald Beaufour & Maud Chabeau for their unwavering involvement.
I’d also like to acknowledge Yves Winand, Bertrand Taussac, and Edouard Dupire for their valuable support throughout the project.”

Team PRG is proud and grateful to have been part of such an unforgettable production.
