Production Futures Recognises PRG As Gold Partner

PRG is proud to be recognised as a Gold Partner by Production Futures, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the next generation of talent entering the live events and production industry.

Across the sector, conversations around skills shortages are ongoing. But access and visibility remain just as critical. For many emerging professionals, understanding how to enter the industry, who to connect with, and where opportunities exist can be a barrier in itself.

Through our partnership with Production Futures, PRG is helping to break down those barriers. By engaging with students, freelancers and early career professionals at a much earlier stage, we are contributing to clearer, more accessible pathways into the industry.

It’s also been brilliant to see more companies recognising the importance of this work. With each event, the growing number of partners involved is helping to build something that feels less like an initiative and more like a genuine community, one that is collectively invested in the future of the industry.

Production Futures has established itself as a vital platform for discovery, connection and insight, bringing together experienced professionals and new talent in a meaningful and practical way. The initiative continues to play a key role in shaping how the next generation explores careers in production.

Leigh Yeomans, Head of People Services at PRG, has been instrumental in the company’s early involvement with the initiative, founded by CEO Hannah Eakins in 2016.

Reflecting on the partnership, he said: “Being part of Production Futures genuinely means something. What they’ve built goes far beyond a recruitment event, it’s a space where people can see what’s possible, have real conversations and start to picture a future in this industry. The scale and quality of talent we meet at each event is incredible, but what stands out most is the ambition. There’s a real energy in the room, and it’s clear this platform is opening doors that simply weren’t visible before.”

As part of our ongoing support, PRG has contributed to the delivery of talk stages and showcased our apprentices at events. This not only highlights real career journeys but also provides emerging talent with relatable voices and practical advice.

Creating opportunities for apprentices to share their experiences has proven especially valuable, giving them a platform to grow in confidence while supporting others who are just starting out.

Leigh added: “We’re proud to play a part in giving something back to the industry. Supporting Production Futures means supporting its future workforce. A huge thank you to Hannah Eakins, Ben Hyman and the wider team for creating such a powerful platform that continues to move the industry forward.”

As the industry continues to evolve, partnerships like this remain essential in ensuring it stays accessible, inclusive and equipped for the future.
