This World Theatre Day, we celebrate the power of storytelling—not only on the world’s biggest stages, but within the vibrant regional theatre communities that shape our global cultural landscape. From the bright lights of Broadway to the historic stages of the West End, and across Japan, China, and Australia, theatre continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
PRG is proud to support productions across these markets, delivering the technology, expertise, and global infrastructure that bring stories to life.
Across our full range of services—including audio, lighting, video, scenic, and automation—we are currently supporting:
- 9 productions in the West End, including long-running favorites like Wicked, Mamma Mia!, and The Lion King, alongside newer titles such as The Great Gatsby, The Devil Wears Prada, and the upcoming The Greatest Showman. We also support multiple UK national tours and regional companies, including the Royal Shakespeare Company Stratford.
- 36 productions on Broadway and 30 U.S. national tours. Broadway highlights this season include the critically acclaimed revival of Ragtime and the highly anticipated new musical, The Lost Boys.
As productions travel internationally, maintaining technical consistency becomes increasingly complex. PRG’s global infrastructure and experienced teams enable shows to move seamlessly between regions with confidence, ensuring creative and technical integrity at every stage.
In Asia-Pacific, our teams in Japan and Australia support both international productions and locally originating work, bringing regional expertise to productions across the market. Whether a show begins on Broadway or is developed within APAC, our local teams play a critical role in delivering world-class results tailored to each production and audience.
Our international tours span the U.S., UK, Europe, the Middle East, China, South Korea, Japan, and Australia, bringing beloved productions such as Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, and Moulin Rouge! to audiences around the world.
By connecting teams across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, we help productions maintain their creative integrity wherever they are staged. Whether supporting a long-running Broadway hit, a West End premiere, a regional theatre production, a global tour, or a new work developed locally, PRG remains committed to delivering the technology and expertise that allows theatre to thrive on a global stage.
