Behind-the-Scenes-Video: PRG at Prolight + Sound 2019
The highlight show, which took place every 30 minutes, was again the central attraction, where we presented our competences in the areas of lighting, ...
The AV market offers millions of products, yet sometimes the solution you’re looking for simply doesn’t exist. That’s where custom solutions come in. By working closely with designers and technical experts, early in the concept phase, we turn your vision into reality. Customisation can range from tailored sourcing to the complete development of an entirely new concept from the ground up.
True to its name, every custom project is unique. Examples and case studies not only demonstrate what’s possible but also serve as inspiration, showcasing the range of solutions we deliver. These projects span a wide range of markets, with PRG Projects bringing decades of expertise, particularly within concert touring, music productions, special events, and sports environments.
For Daniel Caesar’s tour, the goal was to create a stage design that worked equally well in small clubs and large amphitheatres. The solution needed to feel intimate in tighter spaces while still delivering impact in larger venues.
PRG Projects and PRG North America used Infiniform video dollies to form three modular LED walls around the stage. Designed for easy transport, the system travelled efficiently by air and by different truck sizes across Europe and North America, always using the most economical method for each location. The modularity of Infiniform allowed the walls to be quickly reconfigured and rebuilt from venue to venue, ensuring a consistent visual identity with minimal setup time.
Nightlife has never looked quite like this. The new Ibiza venue created a fresh visual identity every night, using only a limited set of elements. PRG France supported the [UNVRS] by providing technical support and handling the complete motion control system, utilizing over 100 Movekets.
One key solution to transform the space were the Infiniform ceiling pods, modular units that could be rearranged into multiple configurations to completely transform the space.
The ceiling pods were built using Infiniform, a modular system that contributes to a more sustainable approach. Each pod featured integrated screens on the bottom, with optional LED screens on the sides for additional effects. Decks and railings could also be attached, allowing dancers to perform on top of them and turning the pods into miniature stages throughout the venue.
The Big Ass Stadium Tour created a distinctive atmosphere where numerous elements came together to evoke a Route 66–inspired stage design. One of the visual components was a collection of LED traffic signs, each contributing to the immersive environment.
The unique LED shapes presented a production challenge. A combination of standard and triangular elements, combined with a fascia border, created the distinctive look of the road signs. Designed with touring in mind, they were lightweight and versatile, easily placed on stage or suspended overhead, making them both visually striking and practical for life on the road.
As PRG was involved in the entire process, a seamless solution was developed for the base structure, supports, cabling, and LED integration. Scattered across the stage, these signs added character and depth to the set.

Sometimes the challenge lies not in technical complexity, but in the location. The priceless interior of the Queen’s coach presented exactly that scenario. For the Queen’s Jubilee, the goal was to display archival footage on LED screens positioned behind the carriage windows.
This required a fully custom approach to ensure the historic coach remained completely untouched. Using the modular scenic system Infiniform, a self-supporting structure was created that seamlessly integrated the LED screens while preserving the integrity of the artefact.
Coldplay made a bold commitment: they would not tour again until a more sustainable approach was possible. This ambition required the development of custom solutions aligned with strict environmental goals, including a significant reduction in transport requirements.
Inflatable spheres emerged as an effective solution, dramatically lowering transport volume while maintaining the show’s visual impact. The result was a touring production that balanced spectacle with sustainability.
Another custom solution for Coldplay was the development of 14-metre-high circular LED screens. These were created using custom-cut ROE Visual CB8 LED panels, fitting perfectly within the visual identity and narrative of the tour.

For Orelsan’s 2026 tour, the visual production pushes the limits of video, motion, and adaptive staging. PRG France supplied a striking setup featuring several INFiLED ARmk2 LED screens, including a main display measuring 19 by 5 metres.
To enable dramatic artist entrances, the main screen required a hinge mechanism. This is where PRG Projects stepped in. Thanks to their prior experience with similar systems, the team was able to design, engineer, and deliver the hinge solution efficiently.
This collaboration allowed PRG France to bring the artist’s creative vision to life while keeping development and production within PRG and leveraging the technical expertise of the Projects team.

Some concepts come with a well-defined vision, but the exact components are not always readily available. That’s where dedicated sourcing makes the difference. Finding the right parts can be challenging, but having a partner who understands the market and can guide you through the possibilities is invaluable. PRG Projects supported the Project with the development of custom, individually controllable LED bulbs designed to mimic classic incandescent lamps. PRG’s scenic division in Las Vegas created additional scenic elements. Together, the teams delivered a show that combined cutting-edge technology with a vintage aesthetic.
Eric Prydz is renowned for his technologically ambitious shows, combining music with advanced lighting, LED, and scenic design. His latest creation is an 8-metre sphere made from three layers of transparent LED, a complex and visually striking structure.
The Holosphere 2.0 debuted at [UNVRS] in Ibiza, where PRG France and PRG Projects collaborated on LED solutions, rigging, lighting, and more.
The sphere presented significant challenges, including its size, curved shape, required transparency, and fast load-in times. PRG Projects thrives on these challenges, continuously pushing forward until the right technical solutions are found.
With custom design and engineering, ambitious ideas can evolve into fully realised experiences, adding an extra dimension that elevates any show.
At PRG, we support every type of project, from a small lighting setup for an intimate event to a complete 360° production package featuring bespoke LED solutions.
Within PRG, PRG Projects is the team driving these innovations. Defined by creativity and technical ambition, they develop new products, engineer custom solutions, and work closely with local PRG teams to deliver large-scale productions worldwide.
Together, we turn creative visions into unforgettable realities.
