In event technology, “rigging” refers to the positioning and hanging of loads. Riggers are responsible for load calculations, and for the proper assembly and dismantling of exhibition booths and suspension points. They have to consider dynamic loads, load distribution, wind loads etc. Usually, structural reports need to be created or compiled for all the loads involved.
The cooperation of the event location is also required: For all rigging and suspension points, structural documentation specifying the permissible loads must be provided. If the required documentation is not available, our rigging department will usually find a solution.
