The TPi Awards celebrated its 25th anniversary with a production that reflected the scale and stature of one of the live events industry’s most anticipated evenings. Bringing together nearly 2000 professionals from across touring, production and technical disciplines, the milestone edition demanded a visual delivery worthy of the occasion.

PRG was proud to support the event as Video Supplier, delivering a complete video, control and camera solution designed to elevate both the stage and the wider guest experience.

A Standout Stage for a Milestone Year

At the heart of the design was a 54m x 6m main stage LED screen built from ROE Vanish V4ST, making its debut since arriving in PRG's inventory earlier this month. The expansive canvas formed a bold visual centrepiece for the show, supporting high impact content, award moments and live camera relay throughout the evening.

Working in close collaboration with production management at GoToLive and alongside the wider supplier team, PRG helped develop TPi’s initial concept into the most ambitious video delivery the event has seen to date, scaling the design to match both the significance of the 25th anniversary and the size of the audience.

Ensuring every guest felt connected to the action was central to the approach. Six metre high IMAG screens delivered strong sightlines across the room, supported by a comprehensive camera package that included two long throw cameras, two PTZ cameras, a 24ft jib and Steadicam.

From sweeping auditorium shots to close up award reactions, the system maintained energy and engagement throughout the night, bringing the audience closer to the stage at every key moment.

Extending the Visual Experience

The visual impact extended beyond the main stage. In the bar area, a dedicated 45 metre LED screen built from Unilumin UtileIII carried the design language into the wider venue, creating a cohesive environment across all guest spaces to showcase the suppliers and supporters behind the event and even a doughnut announcement.

As the TPi Awards marked a quarter century of recognising touring and live production talent, the evening stood as a testament to the collaboration, innovation and technical expertise that drive the industry forward.
