PRG invests in the Adamson Vergence Group

More control. More consistency. A better experience for every audience.

Great sound is about making sure every person in the audience hears the show the way it was intended, while giving production teams the control and flexibility to make that happen.
PRG has invested in Adamson’s Vergence Group, the manufacturer’s new generation of professional audio technology and a significant next step for our BeNeFra audio inventory.
At the heart of that investment today is VGt, Adamson’s large-format line array system and the first Vergence system now being deployed across our productions.
With exceptional sound quality, fully active cardioid technology and a more efficient system architecture, VGt gives our teams greater control, consistency and flexibility across a wide range of productions, ultimately giving our clients more possibilities and their audiences a better experience.

“As PRG, we are investing in the Adamson Vergence Group not only because of its exceptional sound and the active cardioid system it offers us, but also to give our clients the chance to deliver the sound they had in mind when they were thinking about their event.”

Peter Robberechts, Managing Director PRG BeNeFra

Why we invested

Our Adamson E12 and E15 systems have served us brilliantly over the years, but the Vergence Group represents a new generation of audio technology. Developed from the ground up, the platform combines loudspeakers, amplification, processing, software and networked audio within one ecosystem.

Working closely with DV2, Adamson’s distribution and technical support partner in the region, we are taking the next step in our long-standing use of Adamson technology.
For PRG, that means new tools to design audio around what each production actually needs: greater control, more consistent coverage and greater efficiency from system design through to deployment.

VGt is the first part of that investment now available within our inventory, supporting productions from corporate events and theatres to touring, concerts and large-scale festivals.

More control. More consistency.

One of VGt’s defining innovations is its fully active cardioid technology, giving our teams much greater control over where sound is heard and where it is not.
By reducing unwanted sound behind the system across virtually the entire frequency range, VGt creates a cleaner stage environment and helps keep unwanted sound away offering a powerful, controlled sound directed towards the audience, with significantly reduced spill behind the cabinets.

Combined with advanced optimisation software and a newly developed midrange driver and waveguide design, VGt also helps maintain a remarkably consistent tonal balance across the listening area.

For the audience, the result is simple: clear, detailed and consistent sound throughout the venue.
From a keynote in a conference hall to a headline show in front of thousands, the system can be adapted to very different audience sizes, environments and production requirements.

High performance, with a smaller footprint

VGt integrates amplification directly into the system, reducing the need for heavy amplifier racks and large cabling packages.
That means less truck space, more efficient deployment and a smaller logistical footprint, without compromising high-end audio performance.
Its scalable ecosystem also allows our teams to build solutions for very different applications, whether the priority is touring efficiency, festival coverage, theatre precision or speech intelligibility at a corporate event.

Already proven in the field

VGt has already been used across productions including Bart Peeters, Sintshow, Toppers, Marti Pellow, dEUS and Pommelien Thijs at AFAS Dome.
This summer, it was also deployed in two very different festival environments: The Barn at Rock Werchter and Concert at SEA.

At The Barn, VGt delivered consistent coverage while keeping unwanted sound away from the stage. At Concert at SEA, it brought the same clarity and consistency to a large open-air audience.

At Concert at SEA, the system was put to work in a completely different, open-air environment, delivering the same clarity and consistent coverage across a large outdoor audience.

Different environments, same objective: making sure the audience hears the show the way it was intended.

Investing in what comes next

Our investment in Vergence goes beyond adding VGt to our inventory. It is about giving our teams more possibilities and our clients more freedom in how they bring productions to life.
More control. More consistent coverage. Greater efficiency. And ultimately, a better experience for the audience.
Adamson VGt is now available.
