For a flagship conference like Xerocon, the stage needs to do more than provide a backdrop. It needs to create a canvas for ideas, content and storytelling at a scale that can command the attention of thousands of attendees.

PRG supported INVNT with the video delivery for Xerocon, Xero's flagship conference, providing the technology and technical expertise behind an expansive visual environment designed to support everything from keynote presentations to product launches.

At the centre of the event was a 69 metre wide ground stacked LED display, creating a vast canvas across the main stage and giving the creative team the scale to make content a central part of the experience.

Creating a canvas at scale

With a programme spanning keynote presentations, product announcements and conference content, the video system needed to accommodate a wide variety of creative formats while maintaining a consistent visual experience throughout the event.

The 69 metre main display was complemented by LED portal displays integrated into the wider stage environment, extending the visual canvas beyond the central screen and helping create a cohesive setting for each moment on stage.

Delivering video at this scale requires considerably more than assembling the LED itself. Engineering, processing and signal distribution all need to work together, supported by detailed planning ahead of the event and a technical team capable of delivering consistently on site.

PRG worked closely with INVNT and Iain Stewart throughout the project, supporting the video solution from planning and engineering through to installation and on site delivery.

That collaborative approach allowed the technology to sit behind the creative ambition rather than define it, giving the team a flexible canvas capable of adapting as the programme moved between presentations, launches and other content.
