There were big plans on the horizon for the International Swimming League (ISL) 2020 second season! However, due to coronavirus, these plans were scaled back and to ensure the safety of all, season two took place entirely in the Budapest Duna Arena, creating a closed Covid bubble to preserve athletes & production crew.
PRG is proud to support ISL as a global technical production partner for this second season and also to offer its services and expertise both in terms of support and advice on the technologies used.
As Global Technical Production Partner, PRG provided services including; global project management, technical direction & conception, site coordination, light design, set construction design and more!
Alongside these services, PRG provided technical solutions which included rigging, lighting, audio, intercom, video, power distribution and set construction.
There were over 450 lighting fixtures installed which included the PRG proprietary Icon® Edge and Icon® Beam fixtures. PRG also used 250m2 of ROE CB5 video screen, Barco E2 system and Disguise 4x4 Media Servers for the onscreen content.
180 PRG Revolution Blades were used all around the pool & in the TV studio to offer a 360° background.
PRG made good use of its powerful PRG Alliance network for this project, utilising EMEA’s Core Expert & & head of department to work alongside local technicians & on-site managers from the Visual Europe Group as #OneTeam.
PRG also partnered with ConceptK on lighting design & set construction design. Local set construction company Torter e-design constructed the stunning set around LED screens.
Fantastic project and a fantastic result from all!
