Francophonie Games

Playing a pivotal role as the technical supplier for this significant event, PRG France provided an all-encompassing 360° service, encompassing video, sound, intercom, rigging, and power distribution equipment. The Francophonie Games, bringing together over 3,000 young artists and sportspeople from 88 member states and governments of the Int. Organisation de la Francophonie (OIF), is renowned as the largest sporting and cultural gathering dedicated to youth in the French-speaking world. With 11 cultural competitions, 9 sporting events, and various activities, the event unfolded in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, from July 28 to August 6, 2023, promoting unity and friendship.

PRG France contributed to the success of this major event, utilizing its technical expertise and cutting-edge equipment to ensure outstanding performances and shows for participants and spectators. The scale of the project required an impressive 170m³ of equipment and a team of 30 technicians to assemble the kits. The logistics were facilitated through our collaboration with PRG Alliance member Easy Group in Cameroon, providing audio equipment support. Addressing project-specific needs, PRG Middle East supplied 30 Video VPs to complement the equipment. The international cooperation and logistical coordination played a pivotal role in the event's success.

PRG France played a key role in the 9th Francophonie Games in Kinshasa. As a technical supplier, we provided a 360° service, video, sound, intercom, rigging and power distribution equipment. This major event, which brings together more than 3,000 young artists and sportspeople from the 88 member states and governments of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), is the largest sporting and cultural gathering dedicated to young people in the French-speaking world.

The Jeux de la Francophonie include 11 cultural competitions, 9 sporting events and a host of other activities throughout the event. Athletes and artists from all over the world will gather in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, from 28 July to 6 August 2023, under the banner of friendship. PRG France is proud to contribute to the success of this major event by providing its technical expertise and cutting-edge equipment to ensure top-quality performances and shows for all participants and spectators.

The strengths of PRG France, PRG Dubai and PRG Alliance are combined

An impressive amount of equipment was required for this project. In fact, 170m3 of equipment, weighing around 42 tonnes, was delivered by plane to enable our 30 technicians to assemble the kits. These complex logistics were made possible thanks to the collaboration with our PRG Alliance member in Cameroon, Easy Group, which provided support in the delivery of the audio equipment.

In addition, to meet the specific needs of the project, we also called on PRG Dubai, which supplied 30 Video VPs (7 tonnes) to complete our equipment. This international cooperation and logistical coordination were essential to the success of the event.
