From Broadway to the Biggest Tours, PRG Helped Shape the Performances, Broadcasts, and Experiences That Defined Live Entertainment
From Broadway to the biggest stadiums in the world, PRG powered the performances, broadcasts, and experiences that defined entertainment in 2025. For nearly four decades, PRG has been the global leader and creative engine behind the world’s most ambitious productions, where artistry meets technology. In 2025, its work spanned continents and categories to unite engineering, and innovation across music, theater, television, film, special events, and corporate experiences, shaping performances that inspired millions and expanded what’s possible in live entertainment.
From desert festivals to stadium world tours, PRG’s Music division shaped the visual and sonic landscape of modern concert production. Working alongside artists, designers, and creative directors, PRG brought 586 tours and festivals to life, helping artists turn imagination into incredible audience experiences.
One of the year’s’s standout productions was Post Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour, a technically demanding show that balanced scale with intimacy. PRG delivered full scenic, lighting, video, and rigging support, collaborating with Stufish and Lighting Designer Rob Sinclair. The scenic build, executed jointly by PRG Scenic in New York and PRG Projects in Belgium, featured twin Posty Co. signs, 500 meters of LED tape, 150 LED nodes, and nearly 100 sheets of perforated metal with more than 450,000 holes. Other scenic elements were the 17 LED Road signs that stood and hung around the stage. Over 1,000 lighting fixtures powered by PRG’s GroundControl Followspot System and more than 500 Infiled Titan X LED tiles completed the design, combining scale, precision, and speed for seamless touring deployment.
PRG also supported Shakira’s blockbuster Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, a sleek, high-energy stadium production led by Lighting Designer Dan Norman, with creative direction by The Squared Division and production design by Yellow Studio. The show features hydraulic platforms, a 25-meter catwalk, a 160-foot LED wall, and more than 800 lighting fixtures. After sweeping across South America, North America, Mexico, and Latin America, the tour concludes December 11 in Argentina.
Through its expansive global inventory and network of specialists, PRG continued to enable next-generation live productions, ensuring that wherever music traveled, its impact was unforgettable.
In 2025, PRG supported 54 Broadway productions, helping theatermakers bring visionary storytelling to life through lighting, audio, scenic, and video design. The company’s expertise appeared on 21 Tony-nominated productions, including recognition for scenic, lighting, sound, and video design.
A clear example of PRG’s innovation is the company’s large format LED scenic integration and automation capability, showcased on Broadway through the technical build for Redwood, co-conceived by Tina Landau and Idina Menzel. The production included one of Broadway’s largest LED displays, with over 1,000 panels forming 13 screens. PRG supplied scenic, automation, lighting, audio, and video systems that created the show’s immersive world, including “Stella,” a 32-foot-high, 14-foot-wide rotating tree embedded with LED screens that seamlessly blended light, motion, and emotion.
Equally groundbreaking was The Picture of Dorian Gray, starring Sarah Snook. The Broadway adaptation fused live performance with pre-recorded media in real time using five cameras, five mobile devices, and over 90 minutes of integrated video content composited through disguise’s d3 media server. PRG developed custom automation software to move five 630-pound LED screens in sync with the performance, a complex dance of art and engineering that helped the show earn six Tony nominations.
Across Broadway and beyond, PRG’s deep collaboration with creative teams helped push theater into a new era where technology enhances, rather than overshadows, human storytelling.
PRG’s technology and expertise underpinned many of 2025’s most iconic broadcasts, from the the Big Game Halftime show and The Grammys to FIFA, The Oscars, and both Daytime and Primetime Emmy Awards. Working hand in hand with directors and showrunners, PRG delivered precision lighting, rigging, and LED systems that shaped the look and feel of the year’s biggest televised events.
A standout production was Beast Games, Amazon Prime’s most-watched unscripted series, created by MrBeast. Transitioning from YouTube to a large-scale streaming format required one of the biggest technical builds ever for a reality competition. PRG deployed 15 semi-trailers of video, LED, and camera gear, including over 325 cameras and five miles of fiber. They also established two massive control rooms across three sites. The result was a record-breaking production that set a new bar for immersive broadcast storytelling.
This year, PRG played a central role in delivering some of the world’s most high-profile events — from major sporting ceremonies and cultural celebrations to groundbreaking immersive experiences. The company’s multidisciplinary teams worked across more than 40 countries, partnering with leading creative agencies and event producers to craft unforgettable spectacles that seamlessly blended artistry, ingenuity, and technology.
Among the year’s standout projects, PRG’s work on Formula 1 set a new industry benchmark, featuring the largest temporary lighting and video network ever created globally — a testament to the company’s unmatched technical expertise and ability to execute at scale.
For the world’s leading corporations and agencies, PRG transformed brand stories into experiences that connected with audiences. Whether launching products, staging global conferences, or producing immersive events, PRG’s Corporate Events division delivered solutions that married design, storytelling, and technical excellence.
PRG’s reach is global, but its strength lies in its people. With 38 offices worldwide and more than 2.5 million square feet of production, warehouse, and office space, PRG provides end-to-end support for creative partners at every stage, from concept to curtain call.
In 2025, 2,500 technicians and engineers in the U.S. alone worked to deliver seamless experiences at every scale. And across its network, 226 team members celebrated 20 or more years with the company; this is a testament to PRG’s culture of collaboration, ingenuity, and passion for the craft of production.
As PRG enters 2026, the company remains dedicated to pushing creative and technical boundaries through innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration.
