People that you can rely on not only to fulfill your production needs but more so as partners focused on the same goal; to provide outstanding equipment and service no matter how challenging your project may be.
Executive Vice President, PRG Nocturne
Paul is a 30+ year veteran of the concert touring industry. Co-founding San Francisco-based Nocturne Productions, he pioneered the use of large screen image magnification for the rock arena and stadium environments. In the 80’s he started as touring video director with acts such as Journey, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Guns ‘n Roses, and Elton John, to name a very few. He was nominated for a Grammy for a video produced for Prince. Paul still tours as video director to Paul McCartney, a position he has held since 1989.
Paul’s touring history gives him a unique perspective of the multiple facets of providing a video package to the tours where he acts as account executive, noting that, “It’s not just providing the latest in equipment, we make sure the crews are competent and compatible with road life as well as insuring the equipment is packaged to fit in the minimal amount of cargo space”.
Taking Nocturne from the analog days to the digital multi-screen, high tech productions in use by so many today, Paul still is in close contact with many of the production managers and show designers he has gone through the ranks with.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Paul now lives in the San Francisco bay area with his wife Lisa. He has one daughter in college and one about to become a nurse.
Based in PRG’s DeKalb, IL location, Karrie is responsible for all day to day accounting and administrative functions for PRG Nocturne. Prior to joining PRG Nocturne in 2012, she came from an insurance background where she was the staff accountant for a company based in the western suburbs of Chicago. She obtained her P&C Insurance license which allowed her to easily transition into the assistance of obtaining contracts and certificate of insurances from our clients. Although new to the concert touring industry, she has nearly a decade of accounting experience and offers a passion for customer service to her clients, which has helped her achieve a strong relationship with many production companies.
